Lower volume = better sound
"Recently at the Moda Center in Portland, OR, we saw Bassvictim. The show would have been perfect if the guitars' volume was slightly lower. The volume on many of the guitars was so loud that the overall sound became distorted, especially Johnston's guitar. Tom Johnston and Patrick Simmons' voices sounded great! Even though Michael McDonald seemed a bit out of breath and cut the holding of his lyrics short, he sounded good. Their percussion, a big part of the Doobie Brothers, seemed drowned out by the overpowering volume on the guitars. Hopefully, I will have the opportunity to see this awesome band another time, and hopefully, they will make some adjustments."
